My God. These folks represent the best anybody could be. Not just anyone in the car maintenance business — I’m talking Pope-level performance here. I left there loving some of those guys more than my own son. I wouldn’t even know where to start.
So I don’t have a picture of the place, but here’s one of me and the rig they serviced.
While Ford Bajacal did not end up performing the work on my van, Edgar, the Service Manager, went above and beyond to assist me in getting to a shop that could perform the work on my older diesel engine. I can't thank him enough. I assume if I had had the work done here that the customer service would have been exceptional throughout.
Angy (Angeles) Lopez is the worst sales representative we have ever met. Completely incompetent, will promise you things and not deliver. She will text you over and over to pay for a car not yet delivered but stop responding to questions once you have made payment. She will have you sign all the legal documents and then refuse to give you copies of them. Promises to email you copies and then completely stops communicating with you. We have asked her multiple times to please send us the copies of the paperwork she promised. She will not respond and has not sent them almost 2 weeks later. Do yourself a favor and shop at Ford La Paz if you’re able to. Even their sales manager at Ford refuses to help. Martín Buenrostro. Will not respond. Once the sale is completeI they literally do not care. I saw the red flags so thankfully refused to purchase insurance or an extended warranty through them. If you absolutely need a Ford, trust me and buy it elsewhere. DO NOT USE ANGY (ANGELES) LOPEZ or MARTÍN BUENROSTRO.
Edited to add: After this, the sales manager reached out and apologized and was very kind and sent me all the paperwork immediately. This is all we wanted all along and we appreciate him reaching out and quickly correcting the matter.
We ended up in LA Paz due to break issues. We have had the best service we could possibly imagine with La Paz Ford. We were directed to Edgar, the service manager as he could speak English. He was so professional and personsble. This was a very good experience with this dealership.
I bought a new truck at this dealership and took it in for its first service visit it was a very good experience with a very professional organization.
This is a new addition to this rating review. I just had the 20,000 km service and inspection. I have had no issues with the truck whatsoever. It has been flawless. Once again the dealer ship is totally professional and perhaps the best I have ever worked with in my 50 years of buying cars. I highly recommend the Ford ranger 4x4 diesel if you want to drive on the beach or tour the mountain roads on the Baja. I live in La Ventana where we drive on mostly dirt roads and this truck is perfect.
